News about neighboring property

Hello folks, It is happening now and it is happening sooner that anticipated.

Many of you might have already seen the yellow colored placards along the Lake in the Woods dr. on the left side as you approach the entrance. The owner of that vacant land behind Walgreens, has plans drawn up and submitted them to the planning dept. of the Hernando county to initiate approval process. 

A committee formed by members of subdivisions like LIW, Primrose lane, Wedgewood estate  have been keeping tabs on the developments and have a lot to say about the project that is shaping up. While we can not stand in the way of any new developments, we certainly can express our concerns about the project as to how it impacts on our own communities including, property values, aesthetics, traffic patterns, roads, wet lands and nature in general that is going to be affected by it.

As you see in the attached , a public hearing by the Planning and Zoning commission is being held on Monday Dec12, 2022 at 09.00 AM.at Hernando county Government ctr., Room 160, 20 North main St, Brooksville. Planning dept. can be reached at 352 754 4057. if you have further questions.

Some of your board members have prepared themselves to ask questions at the hearing which is limited to three minutes per person
