Good Afternoon Neighbors!
1. The Annual Owners Membership Meeting is scheduled for Sat. April 17, 2021 at 10:00 am on the island. (Rain date of April 24th) A packet of materials was mailed to each of you beginning of March. Thank you to all owners who have mailed their Proxys in the blue envelope so far. Last day for Proxys to be counted for the quorum by mail is Friday, April 16, 2021, in person by April 17, prior to Annual Meeting start. Hope to see you there!
2. 2020 Annual Meeting Minutes will be approved by membership vote at April 17th meeting. The minutes can be found at LITW website for review: https://litwoods.com by clicking the 2021 Annual Meeting icon.
3. In LITW packet mailed to you, a list of Volunteering Opportunities was included. For those interested in serving the Community on a committee, you may email the Secretary or President directly by May 5, 2021 OR sign up at the Annual Meeting.
The Board hopes more residents will opt to get involved with their community. The Board wants to reassure residents with little or no volunteering experience that there will be lots of mentoring and teamwork involved, so don’t worry if you have no experence! 🙂
4. However, there are two (2) Committees that require a Board of Directors direct appointment in accordance with LITW Covenants & ByLaws: The Architectural Committee (ACC) and the Fining Committee. Both Committees are also guided by Florida Statutes 720.3035 & 720.305 respectively. Attached are the application processes for both Committees. You may also bring and turn in the completed forms to the check-in table at the Annual Meeting on April 17th but turn in no later than May 5, 2021. The forms (print only) can also be found on the LITW website under the Volunteer link.
