There are few bits of information your HOA Board would like you to be aware of:

  1. The Front Entrance/ Drainage Project will begin this week in LITW and evolve through stages. Please be aware of large machinery, changed traffic patterns and road closures occuring within LITW over the next 3-4 months.  Please remember to be courteous and follow designated signs, cones, etc. for your safety, the safety of the community, and the safety of the workers.  Please plan your personal time schedule and any vendor appointments accordingly.  You will receive updates, if possible, as they occur.  In addition, the front gate may only be one (1) lane at times throughout the project. Thank you in advance for your patience while the LITW improvements are in process.
  2. Maintenance News – Sad News:  Mark F. has moved on to another job. Mark was LITW Maintenance Worker for the past 11 years or so.  (You may have seen him zipping around the grounds over the years in the golf cart).  However, the great news :  Our new Maintenance Worker is Carlos B.  Carlos has already begun his job here in LITW last week.  He is doing a fabulous job!  Please say hello if you see him.  In addition, if you have any questions or concerns, rather than disturb Carlos, please direct those inquiries to Board Director Wayne Gardner at 1-803-381-1235.  Wayne will be glad to address any concerns.   Thank you!
  3. Annual LITW Homeowners 2021 Membership Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2021 10 am on the island. Please remember to return your Proxy in the blue envelope (even if you plan to attend the meeting). A Quorum of 75% or 164 residents is needed to hold the meeting, so if you are unable to attend, your Proxy will count as 1 resident:  YOU!  Please be sure to check the 2021 Annual Link on LITW Website periodically for updates and information pertaining to the meeting.  Thank you!
  4. Recreation – The attached photo is a snapshot of the newly installed Shared Library and Butterfly Springriders at the playground in the recreation area. 
  5. Golf Cart Access – Hernando County Board of Commissioners has approved Golf Cart use on Lake in The Woods Drive to the Commercial Boulevard turn in to Publix all the way to Perkins Resturant.  More information will be forthcoming with outline of map, vehicle parameters and start date for the golf cart usage amenity to commence for LITW residents!
